We are an independent Christian church grounded in the principles of the Restoration Movement. Our mission is to lead people to become disciples of Jesus by teaching that He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. We endeavor to grow spiritually through regular Bible study, a commitment to prayer and worship attendance, stewardship of time, talents and material possessions along with Christian service to our community. Only those ordinances which were initiated by the Apostles are held to be essential. Baptism is the immersion of a penitent believer in water for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38). It symbolizes the spiritual unity we have with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection (Romans 6:1-5). The Lord’s Supper is observed on the first day of the week as was the custom of the New Testament church (Acts 20:7). Since it is the Lord’s Supper, we neither invite nor debar, but ask that each man prove himself (I Corinthians 11:27).
